APPLYING FOR A PERMIT REPLACEMENT - INDIVIDUAL |

STEP ONE To start, select Individuals on the landing page | |
STEP TWO Click Start application | |
STEP THREE Select Replace a damaged, lost or stolen permit and click Next | |
STEP FOUR Click Start to continue | |
STEP FIVE Read the User Obligations and the Terms & Conditions before clicking the authorisation/agreement tick box. Then Click Next | |
STEP SIX Select the reason why the permit needs replacing. If it has been lost, a declaration detailing how and when the permit was lost must be given to the local council when collecting the replacement permit. If it has been stolen, a statutory declaration detailing how and when the permit was stolen or a copy of the police report must be given to the local council when collecting the replacement permit. If it is damaged and is unusable, the damaged permit must be returned to the local council when collecting the replacement permit N.B. All replacement permits must be picked up from your local council. | |
STEP SEVEN Select the permit that looks most like your current permit. | |
STEP EIGHT Enter the current permit and code (this is in the information panel on the front of the permit). If the permit is not available, then leave blank. | |
STEP NINE | |
STEP TEN Enter the permit expiry date then click Next | |
If you have more than 6 weeks left before your permit expires you’ll need to reapply closer to the expiry date. Please reapply when you have less than 6 weeks left before your permit expires. | |
STEP ELEVEN Select Yes and then click Next | |
STEP TWELVE Enter your personal details. Answer all questions unless marked.
Click Next
N.B. Enter the details used when applying for the permit being replaced. | |
STEP THIRTEEN Enter the address that was used for the permit application in the Street address field. Then select a match from the drop-down list Click Next | |
If your address doesn’t appear in the drop-down list, select No, I will enter address in manually | |
Manually enter your address, as well as Suburb and Postcode | |
STEP FOURTEEN Is the address used for permit application the same as the permit holder's current address? Select either Yes or No If you select No you will need to add the current address | |
N.B. All replacement permits must be picked up from the local council. Click Next | |
STEP FIFTEEN Review all previously entered answers (if any answers are incorrect click Back to make any necessary changes) Read the declaration and the ‘Conditions of Issue and Use’ before clicking the tick box. Click Submit | |
You have now submitted your application for Council review. Please allow 10 to 15 working days to be notified of the application outcome. Quote the Application reference when making any inquires to your local council. If you would like a printed copy of your Application summary, click Print this page | |
Or to email a copy of your Application summary, click Email this page

You will see a confirmation message, that a copy of the Application Summary has been sent to your email |

STEP ONE To start, select Organisation on the landing page | |
STEP TWO Click Start application | |
STEP THREE Click Start | |
STEP FOUR Read the User Obligations and the Terms & Conditions before clicking the authorisation/agreement tick box. Then Click Next | |
STEP FIVE To apply for a new organisational permit, enter the following information

STEP SIX Enter the business address in the Street address field. Then select a match from the drop-down list Please note the address you enter must be in the state of Victoria and cannot be a P.O. box. For more information if you have a P.O Box, click here If your address doesn’t appear in the drop-down list, select No, I will enter address in manually | |
Then manually enter the business address, as well as Suburb and Postcode | |
STEP SEVEN Is the organisation's mailing address the same as the business address? Select either Yes or No If you select No you will need to add the business mailing address | |
STEP EIGHT Enter the following information about the person that will be responsible for the permits within the organisation:

STEP NINE Organisational permits must be picked up at your local council. Please take proof of business registration and proof the vehicles are registered to the business when picking up permits Click Next to continue | |
STEP TEN Select Replacement

Enter the permit number of the permit being replaced and the reason why the permit needs replacing (lost, stolen, damaged) Then click Next | |
STEP ELEVEN Enter the following information for the organisation vehicles requiring a permit
The maximum number of vehicles you can add is the lesser of the number of drivers, number of vehicles and how many permits are required. E.g. if you have 5 drivers and had 5 registered vehicles you can apply for up to 5 permits OR If you have 5 drivers and had 2 registered vehicles you can apply for up to 2 permits OR If you have 4 drivers and had 3 registered vehicles you can apply for up to 3 permits OR If you have 2 drivers and had 5 registered vehicles you can apply for up to 2 permits Click Add Vehicles | |
STEP TWELVE Enter the following information (all fields are required).
Click Save | |
The vehicle will now appear in the vehicle list To make any changes to the saved vehicle, click Edit To delete the vehicle out of the vehicle list click Delete Follow the above process to add as many vehicles as required Click Next | |
